4 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing's Martin Truex Jr. will fire off from the sixth position in Sunday's Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Truex comes into Texas needing to snag a win or rack up points to help him reach the championship race. In his 30 career starts at TMS, Truex has never won a race and only has four top-five finishes. This is not to say he isn't good at the track, as Truex has 16 top-10 finishes, but his strongest runs came in 2016 and 2017, where he led at least 49 laps in all four races. Since then, Truex has only led a combined 25 laps and has two top-10 finishes in those five races. Truex is one of the high-end drivers on the DFS slate, but he doesn't have the best value. Truex will likely have a top-10 run, but unless his No. 19 crew hits on the setup, Truex will have a quiet day.--John Pitucci - RotoBaller
