Martin Truex Jr. Still Confident Despite Hitting Wall In Qualifying At Darlington
6 months agoMartin Truex Jr. made it to the second round of qualifying for the Goodyear 400 on Saturday morning, but his No. 19 Toyota was the slowest in that session, as Truex ended up getting into the wall during his lap. That's not the end of the world, though, as the former Cup Series champion will still start from 10th on Sunday. When interviewed after qualifying, Truex noted that it was unfortunate that he hit the wall during qualifying, but Darlington has been a good track for him, and the No. 19 team has momentum on their side heading into the Goodyear 400. Truex is a two-time Darlington winner and has DFS upside due to his place differential and dominator potential. He's a good tournament play on DraftKings with his $10,700 salary.
