Martin Truex Jr. Starts 13th At Phoenix
4 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing's Martin Truex Jr. will start from the 13th position in Sunday's Season Finale 500 at Phoenix Raceway. Truex had issues at Martinsville last week and was not able to make the championship cut for the first time since 2016. In 29 career starts at Phoenix, Truex has never won and has only scored four top-fives and 11 top-10 finishes. Truex's DFS salary is at the top of the slate, mostly for the likely possibility that he will have a solid output in position differential. However, Truex's track record is not super impressive, so unless Truex can deliver a strong top-five run, the value is not there with his selection. DFS players will be better suited to leave Truex out of their lineups for the season finale.
