Martin Truex Jr. Snaps Winless Streak
2 years agoRain pushed back the Wurth 400 at Dover, but the 54-race winless streak for Martin Truex Jr. would be pushed back no longer. Truex started the race in 17th and was able to maneuver his No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota to the lead on Lap 69. It was a lead that he would not relinquish. It was a double-down weekend for the Truex family. After his younger brother Ryan Truex got his first victory in the NASCAR Xfinity Series on Saturday, older brother Martin took the checkered flag on Monday. Truex considers Dover his home track and just won his fourth career race there.
