Martin Truex Jr. Hopeful For Better Luck This Time At Atlanta
2 years agoLast year at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Martin Truex, Jr. posted finishes of 8th and 11th in the two races on the brand new racetrack, but those still weren't quite as indicative of how strong he was. Truex led in both of those races, including 27 laps in the summer event, and thought he definitely could've won if he had a little luck on his side. When answering questions about this weekend's race at Atlanta, Truex said, "All I can do is hope we are in the same position this weekend with our Bass Pro Shops Camry TRD and maybe things will work out a little bit better in our favor and we can bring home the win." Truex will start from 29th in Sunday's Ambetter Health 400.
