Martin Truex Jr. Bounces Back at Kentucky
4 years agoMartin Truex Jr.'s 38th-place finish at Indianapolis Motor Speedway was certainly disappointing, but the No. 19 team bounced back in a big way with a runner-up finish this week at Kentucky Speedway. Truex actually took the white flag in Sunday's race, but contact with Ryan Blaney cost him the lead and he was forced to settle for second. Truex also contributed 57 laps led as well as a 10th and fifth-place finish in the first two stages of the race respectively. In all, it was a solid day for Truex who rewarded fantasy players who trusted in the former Cup series champion.
