Martin Prado Quiet Against Cubs
6 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Martin Prado went 0-for-4 in the loss to the Cubs on Thursday. Despite his ineffective outing against Mike Montgomery, the 35-year-old has been relatively productive against left-handed pitching, amassing a .355 average with 11 hits in 31 plate appearances on the year. Prado and the Marlins will next head to New York to meet with the Mets on Friday with Zack Wheeler on the bump. The 28-year-old sits at 2-2 with a 4.64 ERA, allowing 27 hits and a .276 average against right-handed batters so far in 2019.
