Martin Prado Knocks First Hits of the Spring
6 years agoAfter a disastrous 2018 season, Miami Marlins corner infielder Martin Prado is looking to regain the form he displayed in 2016. The veteran Prado recorded his first hits of the Spring after the team held him out of the lineup because of a back injury he suffered last season. After a 2016 season where he slashed .305/.359/.417 with eight home runs and 75 RBI, Prado has only amassed three homers in just 83 games since. A string of injuries has set him back since that remarkable 2016 season, and beat writer Joe Frisaro reports that he'll share time at first base with new Marlin Neil Walker this season.
