Martin Perez Earns Victory Against Mets
4 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Martin Perez posted a bounce back performance during his second start of the season in Thursday's 4-2 victory against the Mets. The 29-year-old went 5 2/3 innings while allowing two earned runs and just two hits surrendered in the victory, along with four walks and five strikeouts in the productive start. Perez is scheduled to make his next start against the Rays in the upcoming series next week, but the left-hander should be limited to deeper AL-only formats.
