3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes center Martin Necas helped avoid his team from being shutout on Sunday. His goal 2:32 into the third period got Carolina back into the game but it was not enough. Necas converted a great feed from Seth Jarvis and was able to tuck one past Thatcher Demko. It was the Czech forward's seventh goal on the season and 15th point in 25 games. While Necas is not quite on the pace he was last season, his 0.6 points per game is slowing creeping upward nonetheless. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
