Martin Jones Blanks Vegas In Game 4
7 years agoSan Jose Sharks goaltender Martin Jones returned to form Wednesday night in Game 4 against the Golden Knights, posting his second postseason shutout of the year. He's now tied with Pittsburgh's Matt Murray for most shutouts since the 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs (six). Jones' play was a big worry for San Jose heading into Game 4, as he had allowed 12 goals in the first three games, but he found the perfect way to answer the poor run, stopping 34 pucks. He'll head to Game 5 on Friday one shutout short of Evgeni Nabokov's franchise record (seven).
