Martin Jones Allows Five Goals On Saturday
6 years agoSan Jose Sharks goaltender Martin Jones suffered a fourth consecutive loss on Saturday, allowing five goals on 26 shots in a 6-2 loss to Ottawa. He had a perfect opening period with five saves, but things suddenly came apart for him and the team in the second. Jones suffered only two regulation defeats in November, but he had a lowly .880 save percentage, and the start to this month was far from ideal as well. He registered a .808 save percentage in his 18th start of the year. The Sharks are back on the ice on Sunday in Montreal with Aaron Dell expected to start.
