7 years agoOakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch restructured his contract last Saturday before his $1 million roster bonus was due. His base salary in 2018 is now $5.5 million -- $500,000 less than before -- but he's guaranteed $4.5 million of it and can earn up to $9.25 million with incentives. Beast Mode was one of the few bright spot in 2017 and impressed after taking 2016 off, rushing 207 times for 891 yards (4.3 yards per carry) and seven touchdowns. He should remain the starter, but he will face more competition from Doug Martin in 2018, making it tough for him to repeat those numbers.
