Marshawn Lynch An Option For Seahawks
5 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks and running back Marshawn Lynch are open to a reunion, and Lynch has told people that he plans to meet with the team on Monday, according to sources. The Seahawks lost running backs Chris Carson (hip) and C.J. Prosise (arm) to season-ending injuries in Week 16, and Rashaad Penny (knee) tore his ACL two weeks ago, leaving sixth-round rookie Travis Homer as the leader of this back field right now. Seattle is also considering Robert Turbin and C.J. Anderson, and they could add two backs this week with an important Week 17 game against the 49ers upcoming. Beast Mode has quite the history in Seattle, but it's impossible to predict how much he'd be used in Week 17 and beyond after such a long layoff. Stay tuned.
