Marquise Brown Goes Off In Debut
5 years agoBaltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Marquise Brown busted loose Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, making NFL history as the first receiver to score multiple 40-yard touchdowns in a career debut. The 25th overall pick caught four passes on five targets for 147 yards and two touchdowns. Brown hauled in his first career reception for a 47-yard touchdown after breaking a tackle and dusting the Dolphins Defense on a slant. His second career reception came off a skinny post from the slot that resulted in an 83-yard touchdown where he once again torched the defense straight to the end zone. Both of Hollywood's touchdowns came in the first quarter. Fantasy owners were wary about playing Brown after he sat out Friday's practice and was questionable to play Sunday. Expect Brown to have another nice outing in Week Two as the Ravens play a Cardinals Defense that gave up the fourth-most passing yards in the league in 2018 (3,262).
