Marquise Brown Held Scoreless In Season Debut
1 year agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown was held out of the end zone in his team's 20-16 Week 1 loss to the Washington Commanders on Sunday. Brown was only able to corral three of his five targets for 28 yards on the day while adding 29 yards rushing on one carry. Hollywood helped set up a field goal on the team's first drive of the game but remained silent after that, as the Cardinals offense as a whole struggled mightily against a stout Washington defense. Unfortunately, there may be more performances like this in the future, as the Arizona offense projects to be one of the least potent in the NFL. Despite that, Brown will look to get things rolling in an upcoming Week 2 matchup against a New York Giants defense that just got steamrolled by the Dallas Cowboys.
