Marquez Valdes-Scantling Impressing Staff In Minicamp
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling has been impressing the coaching staff, and quarterback Aaron Rodgers this offseason. According to reports he has picked up the new system being installed by head coach Matt LaFleur. The Packers have their lead receiver in Davante Adams, however, the team needs to find their number two option at the position. Geronimo Allison was impressive in parts last season but Valdes-Scantling was equally impressive. Valdes-Scantling finished the season with 38 receptions for 581 yards and two touchdowns, with the majority of that production coming in just four games. It bodes well for Valdes-Scantling production this season that he has impressed Rodgers this season, but it remains to be seen if he will be more consistent this season for fantasy owners.
