Marlon Mack May Not Be Ready for Week 1
6 years agoIndianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich told the media on Thursday that it is "not a slam dunk" running back Marlon Mack (hamstring) is ready for the start of the regular season. Mack has dealt with a nagging hamstring issue for around two weeks and should be considered questionable to play in the team's opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Colts running back rotation will likely fall to a combination of Christine Michael, Jordan Wilkins, and Nyheim Hines in Week 1 if Mack is unable to play, though this backfield has become incredibly hard to predict for fantasy purposes. It will be critical for the sophomore rusher to practice next week if there is any hope of him suiting up.
