Marlins Expected To Activate Jazz Chisholm Jr. On Monday
1 year agoThe Miami Marlins are expecting to activate outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. (oblique) on Monday to return for the start of a four-game home series against the Philadelphia Phillies. Fantasy managers will finally get Chisholm back for the first time since he suffered a left-oblique strain on July 3. The oft-injured 25-year-old will immediately return to being the team's starting center fielder after they sent Dane Myers to Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday. The Marlins could ease him back into a regular workload, but Chisholm should be rostered in all fantasy leagues. Chisholm has hit just .246/.302/.443, but he does have nine home runs and 14 stolen bases in just 167 at-bats in 2023. His power/speed combination makes him a must-start when he's active.
