Markieff Morris Sinks Seven Triples Versus Bulls
5 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Markieff Morris pulled off a big offensive performance in Saturday's loss to Chicago, racking up a season-high 23 points with seven treys. He shot 7-for-12 from deep and 8-for-19 overall from the field, adding six assists in 37 minutes of action. Blake Griffin (illness) and Christian Wood (knee) both sat out, so this was a big opportunity for Morris and he didn't disappoint. He's done a decent job whenever he has gotten enough minutes, but sadly that hasn't been the case on some nights, so he's a tough hold in fantasy leagues. With that said, Detroit's current injury problems have provided a nice boost for Morris' fantasy value, and he has a chance to face his hometown Sixers next on Monday against whom he had a good 17-point outing earlier in the season.
