4 months agoNew York Mets third baseman Mark Vientos (ankle) is back at third base and is hitting fifth in Tuesday's series opener at Coors Field against the hosting Colorado Rockies and left-hander Kyle Freeland. Vientos fouled a ball off his right ankle on Sunday and was held out of Monday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals as a precaution, but he's good to go now and faces a great matchup in the best hitter's park in the big leagues. The 24-year-old snapped a six-game hitting streak on Sunday but will be hoping to pick up where he left off in Colorado this week. Vientos will be a popular DFS play this week and especially on Tuesday night, as he's hitting .366 (30-for-82) with six of his 16 home runs on the year against left-handed pitchers like Freeland.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
