Ottawa Senators forward Mark Stone sustained a leg injury in the Senators loss on Friday against the Flames. Head coach Guy Boucher said that Stone would not travel on the team’s two-game road trip to Florida. Instead, he will remain in Ottawa for further testing. The extent of the injury is unknown at this time. This is a tough break for Stone, who in addition to the injury, also had his 10-game point streak snapped on Friday. This is a situation to monitor closely down the stretch. Stone has been a very reliable fantasy option, and owners should hope he will not be held out much longer than the next two games. Ottawa has back-to-back games later in the week, and it would be ideal if Stone is ready to return to action then.--Kevin Acorn
