3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks closer Mark Melancon has enjoyed a productive start to the 2022 season. The veteran joined the Diamondbacks as a free agent this winter after spending last season with the division-rival San Diego Padres. So far, he's allowed just one run in his first four innings, striking out two batters in the process while giving up just one walk. Melancon has also logged a save already in those four appearances and should be a steady source of saves moving forward as he looks to be entrenched as Arizona's closer.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
