5 years agoAtlanta Braves reliever Mark Melancon allowed one run on three hits in the ninth inning of Sunday's 2-1 win over the New York Mets. It was a rocky outing for the 34-year-old, but he got the job done. Melancon has converted his first five save opportunities with the Braves, despite owning a 6.10 ERA in 12 appearances with the team. For now, the closer role is his.
