New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram II will lead the backfield against the Titans in Week 10. Alvin Kamara (knee) will miss the contest, opening up a lead-back role for Ingram- who is coming off of a 14-touch game against the Falcons. The veteran back has looked good as a runner so far in New Orleans, averaging over 4.5 yards per carry in each start in two games as a member of his old team. Tennessee ranks 24th in rush DVOA- meaning Ingram could be in line for a solid day on the ground. He can be utilized as a mid-range RB2 this week.--Tim Capurso

Free-agent running back Mark Ingram II has run for 1,086 yards and five touchdowns on 294 carries while catching 49 passes for 280 yards and no touchdowns in 35 games in the last three seasons, but he's eager to return in 2023 for his 13th NFL season. He had a career-low 62 carries and missed the New Orleans Saints' final nine games in 2022 with a knee injury. In an appearance on ESPN's "The Paul Finebaum Show" on Monday, Ingram said he had "more juice in the tank." During his NFL career, Ingram has run for 8,111 yards and 65 touchdowns on 1,817 carries. He's caught 303 passes for 2,125 yards and 10 touchdowns. The 33-year-old veteran remains on the free-agent market, and it remains to be seen if any team will pick him up before the 2023 season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram II (knee) was placed on Injured Reserve on Wednesday, officially ending his season. Ingram suffered a torn MCL in Week 13 and will now set his sights on preparing for 2023 with the Saints currently in last place in the NFC South. New Orleans claimed Eno Benjamin off of waivers on Wednesday, and he, David Johnson and Dwayne Washington could all see some opportunities behind Alvin Kamara over the next four weeks.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller

New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram II (knee) suffered a slight tear of his MCL in Monday night's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to sources. The injury will knock Ingram out indefinitely and will likely end his season. He will be out for four to six weeks, but he will not need surgery. With only five games left in the regular season, Ingram is most certainly done for the rest of 2022. The 32-year-old veteran actually outproduced Alvin Kamara in Week 13 with seven carries for 27 yards and a season-high five catches for 22 yards. He'll finish his 2022 campaign with 62 carries for 233 yards and a touchdown, adding 16 receptions for 68 yards in 10 games (three starts). Dwayne Washington will now become Kamara's direct backup in the Saints' backfield.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

New Orleans Saints 32-year-old running back Mark Ingram II tallied double-digit touches in a split with running back Alvin Kamara in the 17-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ingram carried the ball seven times for 27 yards and caught all five targets for an additional 22 yards. He exited the game briefly with what could have been a re-aggravation of his MCL injury but later returned. Ingram will get extra rest heading into the bye week before two softer matchups with Atlanta and Cleveland to start the fantasy playoffs.--Brant Henson - RotoBaller
