Mark Ingram II Tallies Team-High 11 Rushing Attempts Saturday
3 years agoHouston Texans running back Mark Ingram II carried the ball 11 times for 44 rushing yards while adding one catch for three receiving yards in Saturday's loss to the Buccaneers. The Texans rotated backs, with Phillip Lindsay on the field for the first series and Ingram entering for the second. The former Raven struggled to find running room during his first few attempts but found lanes more easily as the game went on, picking up runs of 11, six, and seven yards in the second quarter. Ingram projects to share an early-down role with Lindsay, which is certainly not ideal for his fantasy value, given that he isn't going to see nearly enough volume to be fantasy-relevant in 2021. Ingram isn't worth drafting.
