Mark Hubbard Heating Up Ahead Of TPC Scottsdale
10 months agoMark Hubbard isn't always the model of consistency, but he is certainly trending in the right direction heading into the WM Phoenix Open. The OWGR No. 66 heads to Scottsdale on the heels of four-straight made cuts, including a T20 at the Farmers and a T4 at Pebble Beach last week. Hubbard had a disastrous missed cut at this event last year, but did make the cut in his previous four starts, including a T9 in 2020. Hubbard should be a solid course fit as well, as he ranks 24th in good drive percentage, 11th in overall approach, 29th in bogey avoidance and 18th in par five scoring over the last 36 rounds. While fantasy managers shouldn't expect Hubbard to pick up his first career PGA Tour win this week, his recent form is pointing to what could be his 13th career top-10 finish.
