Mark Giordano Makes History On Saturday
6 years agoCalgary Flames defenseman Mark Giordano had a historic outing in Saturday's 2-1 win against the Wild, becoming the first player in franchise history to score a short-handed goal in consecutive team games. Giordano got the scoring started before Jordan Greenway tied it up, but Matthew Tkachuk made sure in the third that history would be made in a winning effort. Giordano is possibly playing the best hockey of his career at the moment, as he's recorded nine points during a four-game point streak. He's now got five goals and 33 points in 31 games for the season with a league-best plus-20 rating.
