2 years agoBaltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews caught all nine of his targets for 100 yards in Week 17 as the team lost late in the game to the Pittsburgh Steelers. This marked the first 100-yard game for the star tight end since Week 6 against the New York Giants. While he may not have scored, the fantasy awakening was very welcomed by managers everywhere as Andrews played the security blanket role for Tyler Huntley and the offense. As long as the team doesn't opt to sit their starters, he'll look to build on this momentum against the Bengals in Week 18.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoBaltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews had his $4 million roster bonus picked up over the weekend. The veteran tight end is heading into his final year of his contract with the Ravens. There was speculation that the Ravens would move on from Andrews after his recent playoff struggles. Despite that, the Ravens appear to continue to ride with Andrews until a legit trade offer comes in. The three-time All-Pro tight end has seen his stats take a dip over the last few seasons. However, Andrews still hauled in 55 receptions for 673 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns in 17 games with the Ravens last season. It appears the Ravens aren't going to let a few mistakes in the playoffs end their relationship with Andrews.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

1 month agoBaltimore Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta pledged his support for tight end Mark Andrews at the NFL Combine on Tuesday, saying: "Mark is a great player…. Mark will be in a ring if honor someday. I love having him on the team. We'll figure out all the roster machinations in the coming weeks but nobody is a bigger Mark Andrews fan than me." Andrews had an AFC Championship game to forget in the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, losing a critical fumble and dropped a two-point conversion. The 29-year-old has just one year left on his deal with $11 million in non-guaranteed money. The Ravens could save $11 million on this year's salary cap if they were to cut him before his $4 million roster bonus is due on March 17. Although he has the support of the GM and has plenty of chemistry with quarterback Lamar Jackson, Andrews is turning 30 next month and saw Isaiah Likely take on a bigger role next to him in 2024.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

1 month agoESPN's Dan Graziano writes that it's possible that Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews could be a salary cap casualty this offseason. The 29-year-old is scheduled to make $11 million in 2025 -- a $4 million roster bonus due on March 17 and $7 million in salary. Andrews' salary cap number is $16.9 million, and because none of his salary is guaranteed, the team would save $11 million if they release him before his roster bonus is due. In addition to his major gaffes in the playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills, there were stretches in 2024 where fellow tight end Isaiah Likely looked to have surpasses him in the passing game. However, Graziano doesn't discount that Andrews has been extremely reliable in his career with the Ravens and has plenty of chemistry with quarterback Lamar Jackson. Despite coming off a crucial lost fumble and dropped pass in the postseason, Andrews finished as the TE5 in fantasy and had a career-high 11 touchdowns.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

2 months agoBaltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews turned in another big-time season and was one of the most dependable pass-catchers on the team for a long time. Unfortunately, he made two crucial mistakes in the second half of the 27-25 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round. The veteran finished with five receptions for 61 yards on seven targets and two carries for three yards. What's going to be the most memorable are the back-to-back drives that ended in Andrews' mistakes to end the game. He fumbled in the second to last drive, then he saw the potential game-tying catch go right off of his hands without a defender near him. Despite the rough game, he should still remain a top fantasy option at the position next season.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
