Mario Hezonja Plays Key Role In Knicks Win
6 years agoNew York Knicks small forward Mario Hezonja re-entered the rotation on Sunday and came up big for the team, blocking LeBron James' attempt to score a game-winner. The Knicks prevailed 124-123, with Hezonja playing a big part offensively as well, finishing with 17 points on 4-for-8 shooting. He had a perfect record from the line with eight attempts, adding eight rebounds and two steals to his tally in 36 minutes as a starter. Hezonja hadn't played a single minute since Feb. 13. The Knicks have a few injuries at present and are just a general mess, so Hezonja should be getting more action for the time being. He'll try to impress again on Monday against Toronto.
