5 years agoSeattle Mariners manager Scott Servais revealed that there would not be a closer, at least to start the season. While the skipper indicated that different pitchers would be called upon to close on a game-to-game basis, several names have been rumored to claim the permanent role, including Matt Magill, Sam Tuivailala, Erik Swanson, and Yoshihisa Hirano.
