Mariners Agree To Minor League Deal With Matt Bowman
5 months agoThe Seattle Mariners came to terms with pitcher Matt Bowman to a minor-league deal that will turn into a $1 million contract if he makes the big league roster. Bowman was designated for assignment Saturday by the Arizona Diamondbacks after he recorded an 8.10 ERA with a 1.50 WHIP over four appearances. The Mariners will be the third team for Bowman this season, as he was designated for assignment by the Minnesota Twins on April 30. The 33-year-old has a career (7-13) record with a 4.19 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over 195 relief appearances in six seasons. Bowman is not on the fantasy radar and can be left on the waiver wire in most leagues.
