2 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Marcus Stroman (shoulder) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Friday. The 31-year-old has been sidelined since early June due to right shoulder inflammation. He threw 36 pitches in a live batting practice session this past Tuesday. There isn't a clear timeline for Stroman at this point but he appears to be headed in the right direction. Over nine starts this year, the right-hander has struggled to the tune of a 5.32 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
