1 year agoThe Memphis Grizzlies traded for Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart late Wednesday night. The two were involved in a three-team deal with the Washington Wizards that landed Boston Kristaps Porzingis. It's a bit of a surprising move, considering that Smart has been the heart and soul of the Celtics ever since getting drafted by the team back in 2014, but the team had a logjam at the backcourt and this will help to clear it up. Smart's addition gives Memphis two of the most recent Defensive Player of the Year award winners. He also looks set to play a big part offensively early on next season, with Ja Morant suspended for 25 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
