Marcus Smart Goes For 22-8-6 Line In Win Friday
3 years agoBoston Celtics guard Marcus Smart put in a strong line of 22 points, eight rebounds, and six assists during a 130-108 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. The 27-year-old shot an efficient 9-for-13 from the field, including 1-for-2 from three-point range, and 3-for-5 from the free-throw line. The two-time All-Defensive First Team guard also added a steal across 30 minutes of action. Smart's season-high scoring performance should be viewed as a blip rather than a trend. The Oklahoma State product's value comes from assists, boards, and swipes with the ability to chip in with low double-digit points.
