Marcus Smart Gets Hot and Drops 22 Points
7 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart had himself a game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. He found his stroke in the second quarter and finished the game with 22 points and four three-pointers. He also chipped in with eight assists and a steal. The Celtics were feeding the hot hand in the first half, allowing Smart to post his first 20-point game since November. While the scoring and shooting averages aren’t reliable, he is consistently getting late-game run and averaging just over 30 minutes per game. If you’re looking for steals and other counting stats, Smart is your guy.
