Marcus Semien Collects Two More Hits On Saturday
1 year agoTexas Rangers second baseman Marcus Semien went 2-for-5 with a run scored and a strikeout in an 8-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday. The Rangers were all over rookie starting pitcher Taj Bradley in this one, chasing him after 3 2/3 innings and five runs (four earned). Semien reached twice with a pair of singles and scored a run in the big win. The 32-year-old has been hot over the last seven contests with a .313/.353/.531 triple-slash line. He's been hot pretty much the entire year, though, with a rock-solid .297/.363/.487 batting line to go along with nine home runs, 50 RBI, and seven stolen bases over 263 at-bats.
