Marcus Morris Provides Big Spark Off The Bench
6 years agoBoston Celtics forward Marcus Morris played a big part in the team's comeback victory at OKC, going off in the second half and finishing with 21 points and 10 rebounds in 30 minutes off the bench. It's his second double-double of the year after he notched 16 points and 10 rebounds in the season opener against Philadelphia. Morris was 5-for-10 from the field and looked incredibly sharp from downtown, missing only one of his five attempts. He also had a nearly perfect night from the line, going 7-for-8 with his free throws. Morris will get a revenge game next, with the Celtics visiting Detroit on Saturday. He averaged 14 points and five rebounds against his former team last season.
