Marcus Morris Produces 18 Points In Wednesday's Win
5 years agoNew York Knicks forward Marcus Morris helped the team to a third consecutive win on Wednesday with an 18-point effort against Portland. He added seven rebounds and three assists, shooting 7-for-19 from the field and 2-for-7 from downtown. It was an ugly shooting performance, but Morris still managed to match his average points tally for the season. Morris was on fire in November, averaging over 20 points per game, but his 56 percent three-point shooting was always going to be unsustainable. He shot just below 36 percent from deep in December and averaged 17.5 points, which is more like the production we can expect from him for the rest of the way. Morris has a revenge game against Phoenix next. He has always done well against the Suns, averaging 16.5 points and 5.9 rebounds on 53.6 percent shooting in eight career games.
