Marcus Morris Leads Knicks With 20 Points Wednesday Night
5 years agoNew York Knicks forward Marcus Morris shot 7-for-16 from the field, including 4-for-9 from downtown, on his way to a team-high 20 points in Wednesday's loss to the Lakers. He added six rebounds and one assist to his line in 37 minutes. The Knicks found it very tough to score and Morris ended up combining for over a third of the team's points with former Laker Julius Randle, who finished with 16 points on 6-for-16 shooting. Morris is enjoying very good scoring form at the start of 2020, averaging 22.4 points per game in January. He needs to overcome Toronto's tight defense next to continue the good run. Morris managed only seven points against the Raptors in the first meeting of the season on Nov. 27.
