Marcus Morris Leads Celtics In Scoring Saturday Night
6 years agoBoston Celtics forward Marcus Morris was the team's most productive offensive player in Saturday's 102-101 loss to Indiana, providing 23 points in 33 minutes off the bench. He missed only four of his 13 shots all night and went a solid 4-for-6 from behind the arc. Morris also picked up six rebounds, one steal, and one block. The Celtics are off to a shaky start to the season, but Morris has been pretty consistent so far, scoring 15.7 points per game with seven rebounds in 26.1 minutes. He's gotten at least 15 points in five straight games, although the streak will be seriously threatened on Monday when the Celtics play a Denver side that owns one of the league's best defensive ratings (100.9).
