Marcus Morris Hits Five Three-Pointers
6 years agoBoston Celtics power forward Marcus Morris continued his hot shooting stretch on Thursday night in a win over the Milwaukee Bucks. He scored 17 points, on 6-of-11 shooting and hit 5-of-8 shots from three-point range. Morris also had a rare all-around performance too, with five rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block, in 24 minutes. While the rest of the Celtics have struggled with inconsistency, Morris just keeps humming along and has established himself as the Celtics go-to bench scorer. He’s now scored at least 15 points, in 6-of-8 games and is 9th among forwards/centers in three-pointers per game at 2.5 a night. While he’ll cool off eventually, owners in need of points and three-pointers should pick him up and ride the wave. Morris will look to have another strong game on Saturday night against the Indiana Pacers.
