Marcus Mariota Sitting Out Wednesday
6 years agoTennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota (foot, neck) is sitting out of practice on Wednesday but said he's doing "everything in my power" in order to play in the Week 17 must-win game against the Colts on Sunday night. He admitted that his whole right side was "numb and tingly" when he took a hit last Saturday that forced him to miss the entire second half. Tennessee also signed Austin Davis on Monday, making it seem unlikely that Mariota will suit up. If he doesn't, it'll be Blaine Gabbert handing the ball off in this crucial game. Mariota would be a low-end QB2 option even if he plays.
