Marcus Mariota Exits Game In Second Quarter
6 years agoTennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota finished Saturday’s game against the Washington Redskins in the second quarter with a stinger in his shoulder area. Quarterback Blaine Gabbert replaced him in the third quarter and helped lead the Titans to a 25-16 victory over Washington. Mariota put together a stat line consisting of 110 passing yards, seven rushing yards and no touchdowns. With his up-and-down fantasy season, one could only hope that fantasy players in their championship would not view Mariota as a solid start. Even against this Redskins defense that allows 17.5 fantasy points on average, he was not worth the risk. Mariota and the Titans will face off against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17 and for those in fantasy leagues that play through the entire season, we would imagine there are more solid options elsewhere.
