Minnesota Wild winger Marcus Foligno (upper body) will be back in the lineup Friday versus Seattle. This will be his first appearance of the month, with Foligno having missed six games in total because of an upper-body injury. The 31-year-old power forward is slated to skate on the second line with Matt Boldy and Joel Eriksson Ek. Foligno hasn't been able to find any form so far, going for only one goal and two assists in eight games, but he has every chance to perform well now sitting in the top six. Adam Beckman also remains in the lineup Friday, with Jordan Greenway (upper body) having suffered a setback.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Minnesota Wild left wing Marcus Foligno (upper body) will remain sidelined on Wednesday evening when the Wild face the Seattle Kraken. Foligno was unable to play during their previous contest due to this injury. He will look to return to the lineup on Saturday when the Wild face the Buffalo Sabres. As a result, Brendan Gaunce will likely remain in the starting lineup and play on the fourth offensive line. Before his injury, Foligno was in the midst of a 10-game scoreless streak. During this stretch, Foligno has logged 37 hits with nine blocks and nine shots on goal. Through 67 total contests this season, the 33-year-old has found the back of the net 11 times and added 11 helpers with an eye-catching 219 hits. When Foligno is cleared to return, he will be a top option for hits in category formats.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Minnesota Wild winger Marcus Foligno is expected to have season-ending lower-body surgery. He missed a second consecutive game on Saturday versus Vegas. With Minnesota unlikely to make the playoffs, the team has now decided to shut Foligno down. The 32-year-old ends the campaign with 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists) and 179 hits. Health issues limited him to only 55 appearances. Foligno is coming off a three-year, $9.3 million deal and will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Minnesota Wild winger Marcus Foligno (lower body) hasn't joined the team for a brief road trip, which features two games against the Golden Knights and Coyotes. The 32-year-old was injured in Friday's contest against Pittsburgh. Foligno has tallied 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) in 47 games this season, with 50 shots on goal and 161 hits. Connor Dewar (lower body) appears set to replace Foligno in the lineup after practicing on the fourth line on Sunday. Brandon Duhaime took Foligno's spot on the third line.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Minnesota Wild winger Marcus Foligno (lower body) will suit up for Monday's matchup against the Stars. He will return from a three-game absence. Foligno will try to add to six goals and nine assists on Monday, which he has totaled in 35 games this season. His return means an exit from the lineup for Nic Petan. Foligno, who also boasts 93 hits for the season, will add muscle for Minnesota in the inter-division matchup and should boost the offense as well, having scored in three of his last four appearances. He will skate with Frederick Gaudreau and Pat Maroon on the third line.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
