6 years agoToronto Raptors center Marc Gasol got the start in the middle against the Trail Blazers and posted his best line in a Raptors' uniform in the two-point win on Friday. Gasol scored 19 points while grabbing eight boards and dishing out six assists with two steals and a block. Gasol played the majority of the minutes at center (32) while Serge Ibaka played just 16 backup minutes and did not fare so well with just two points, but did grab seven rebounds in this one. Coach Nurse has made it clear that who starts at center is purely based on matchups, so owners of both Gasol and Ibaka should keep their eyes peeled on game days.--Gianni Costantiello
