Marc-Andre Fleury Stays Hot In Wednesday's Win
6 years agoVegas Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury continued to frustrate the opposition on Wednesday, stopping 33 of 34 shots in a 2-1 win against Calgary. Fleury tied Jacques Plante for eighth place on the NHL's all-time list with his 437th career win. After producing back-to-back shutouts in his previous two starts, Fleury also recorded the longest shutout streak of his career with 200 minutes and 41 seconds. Travis Hamonic found a way past him in the middle of the game. Shea Theodore and Deryk Engelland scored for Vegas, while William Karlsson picked up two assists. Fleury leads the league in wins this season with his record standing at 33-19-5. He's also produced a league-high eight shutouts.
