Marc-Andre Fleury Owns Strong Numbers Against Washington
6 years agoVegas Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury will be meeting an old foe in this year's Stanley Cup Finals, as he's set to take on Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals. MAF has faced the Caps in 38 career regular season games, plus a bunch of times in the playoffs. He's won both starts against Washington this season, allowing 1.50 goals per game with a .939 save percentage to improve his career record in the matchup to 22-12-2. Fleury has recorded four regular season shutouts against the Capitals, which is his second highest mark against any opponent. He's also already got four shutouts during the Knights incredible run to the finals this year, boasting a 12-3-0 record in 15 starts with a 1.68 goals-against average and a .947 save percentage. Braden Holtby starts the series following back-to-back shutouts, but Fleury is also a solid DFS pick.
