3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Manuel Margot (hamstring) is expected to be placed on the injured list after he suffered a hamstring injury on Monday, although the severity of the injury isn't yet known. The team's No. 2 prospect behind Wander Franco, Vidal Brujan, would seem to be the likely replacement, but nothing has been decided yet. Margot has supplied fantasy managers with some modest power and speed this year, slashing .252/.297/.404 with nine home runs, 32 runs scored, 44 RBI and nine stolen bases, so he's worth hanging onto in deeper leagues. Brujan classifies mostly as a middle infielder, but he's been working in the outfield in the minors as well. The Rays wouldn't just bring him up to sit him, so Brujan would be worth adding in all formats for his elite speed if he is promoted.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
