Manuel Margot Blasts Solo Shot On Saturday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Manuel Margot went 1-for-4 with a home run and a walk during Saturday's 11-4 win over the Minnesota Twins. He blasted a solo shot off Andrew Albers in the third inning to extend the Rays lead 8-0. It was his first home run since July 3. He is starting to heat up and has now logged a hit in five of his last seven games. Margot is slashing .257/.310/.398 with 10 home runs, 54 RBI, 45 runs scored, and 11 stolen bases over 388 plate appearances in 2021. The 26-year-old is a solid option in deep-league formats, especially hitting near the middle of a loaded Rays offense.
